Punjabi Singer Diljit is ready for his debut in Punjabi movies with Guddu Dhanoa directed film "THE LION OF PUNJAB" and is being produced by Tanda Films Norway.
Star cast includes Diljit Dosanjh, Divya Dutta, Pooja Tandon (Sat Sri Akal/The Perfect Bride fame), Gurpreet Ghuggi, Vindoo Dara Singh, Deep Dhillon, Vivek Shauq and Malkit meet.
It is an issue-based flick, depicting the journey of a villager from his village to a city. Lion of Punjab shows the atrocities faced by him(Diljit) and how he overcomes all of them with his sheer will to succeed.
Music has been Directed by Anand Raj Anand. The shooting of the film has already started and has a three months schedule with its release expected anywhere near August 2010.
